UAMS Medical Center has earned a reputation for offering Arkansans cutting-edge medical services that aren't readily available elsewhere in the state. Our exclusive Gamma Knife is just one more way we're meeting this challenge. As an affiliate of the Arkansas Research Cancer Center (ACRC), one of the leading cancer treatment centers in the nation, the UAMS Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Center provides state-of-the-art treatment to patients from Arkansas, the region, and the world. The UAMS Gamma Knife Center will be an integral component of the multidisciplinary Neuro-Oncology, Skull Base Surgery, Neuroendocrinology, and Cerebral Vascular Surgery Programs at UAMS Medical Center and ACRC. With the addition of the Gamma Knife, these programs represent the most comprehensive and complete patient treatment programs in the state of Arkansas, and rival any currently established nationwide.

As a teaching hospital you can be assured that UAMS Medical Center will remain on the forefront of new medical procedures and technologies.
